On this project Colin Astridge worked closely with the client and architects Michaelis Boyd to create a totally unobtrusive, compact kitchen in a small, very contemporary, glass-cube mews house in Notting Hill.

With space at a premium, the entire kitchen, with all its appliances, is fitted along the back wall. The completely clean, white-gloss acrylic kitchen furniture merges into the white walls making no intrusion into the living space. A stainless steel shutter in the recess offers extra hidden storage.

The metal-framed glass wall and central frameless roof light allows natural light to flood over the entire kitchen/living area and enhances the minimalist, ultra-modern style of the house. This multi-functional, contemporary living area is the ideal solution for a solo professional or couple.
