In 2023, Kitchen Architecture celebrated a milestone birthday – 21 years in the industry

Three decades earlier, amidst the excitement of the early 90s, a furniture student on a work placement in the basement of The Conran Shop on Brompton Road was picking the brains of the Late Great Sir Terence Conran. Fast-forward to 2002 and Kitchen Architecture was opening its first kitchen design studio on the Banbury Road, in Summertown, Oxford.

Our 21 years have flown by, we’ve challenged many preconceptions, added value to clients’ lifestyles and homes, and made some great friends along the way. As pioneers in sociable living, we have shaped how we use our kitchen living spaces for socialising, working and spending time together, as much as for cooking and eating.

We knew we could do things differently and we started Kitchen Architecture with a clear vision to be the very best in our industry. Providing a great experience through service and knowledge has always been our top priority and we will never stop striving to be the best at what we do.

It's our service, knowledge and intelligent design solutions that define our approach and are the key to the entire experience of working with us at Kitchen Architecture. We are proud of our design skills, experience and ability to exceed expectations and we are passionate about our design-led approach.

Over the last 21 years we have partnered with Europe’s most iconic brands, have launched our own furniture ranges, and now operate a nationwide design consultancy from three design centres and our own UK-based workshop.

We are incredibly proud of the relationships that our business is built on. Our staff culture and our long-standing relationships with clients, architects and interior designers are at the core of our organically grown business.

For us, friends are often clients and clients become our friends and over the years we have worked on so many great projects together. We work through every detail to design beautiful, sociable and functional living spaces that truly add value to your lifestyle and your home. This has become our life and our obsession.
