Design Details

Designed for a young family of four, this kitchen-living space needed to work and adapt very efficiently. Being passionate cooks, they particularly wanted clearly defined kitchen, dining and informal areas in an open-plan layout that would allow for easy and sociable entertaining. The property is reasonably wide so a “T” layout lent itself to the space, with a kitchen island positioned to work from both sides, whether cooking, serving or clearing up. Worktops are stainless steel in niche and platinum laminate on the island to achieve a monolithic bloc look. A walk-in pantry using Crittal glazing and Rimadesio Zenit shelves has been positioned at the breakfast bar for easy access to food storage.
