Situated in a new extension, this kitchen brings an understated palette and timeless design to a property that retains its original Victorian features. Architectural elements were taken into careful consideration and the exposed London stock brick wall is juxtaposed with the contemporary glazing. The aesthetic of the kitchen is sensitive to the space as a whole, with materials chosen for both their natural beauty and practical appeal. The design is comprised of bulthaup core laminate in Kaolin, aluminum paneling and smoked oak breakfast bar and wall units. Highly durable and heat resistant stainless steel worktops, top-of-the-range appliances, including a downdraft extractor that wouldn’t visually impose on the space, and functional and intuitive storage have transformed this into a superb professional kitchen for cooking enthusiasts.
