This Oxfordshire country home was the result of a brilliant team including Riach Architects, Interior designer Catherine Willman and flooring specialists Minoli tiles.

For a client that loves entertaining, a sociable kitchen living space was really important. The design also had to complement the modern finish of this rural residence. 

A wide wall run of bulthaup b3 furniture features Gaggenau ovens and cooling appliances as well as an extremely functional alcove situated opposite the hob on the island providing an ergonomic layout between prepping and cooking. A raised bar on the end of the island allows guests and family to easily speak to the cook whilst food is being prep and also creates a connection between the indoors and out on a sunny day.

An added bar area with wine fridge keeps the kitchen space uncluttered, especially when entertaining.
